Our Philosophy

We believe in repair, and in the continuity of electronic devices' life as they are almost always repairable.
The rush to impulsive buying generates often wrong and senseless answers.

-We change devices because:
1) Every year we chase the latest model just because the industry imposes it with "new features" but perhaps for the use we make of them, they are not necessary. (curiosity factor)
2) It's now obsolete, but is it really? A mid-high range device becomes old after about 4/5 years, mid-low range ones after 2/3. We advise against very low-end phones that are sold already outdated, unfortunately. (obsolescence)
3) It doesn't work properly, the battery "can't be replaced" or due to a fall the glass is damaged, or it suddenly starts acting up. (technical factor)

These are just some of the reasons that push us to replace our beloved smartphone, with the consequential waste of money,
damage to our planet with "e-trash" and feeding a consumerist idea that is now obsolete in this time.
The argument obviously applies when the device is functioning and the repair is worthwhile (which sometimes the market prevents us from doing),
but with our philosophy, we try to change the market's response, with purchasing only when necessary and only after repair is not possible or not needed.
With these small steps, we can close a vicious cycle that many companies adopt and open another one in favor of us consumers while respecting our planet.
